Lessons of Living in Space: Skylab

Join us in the Discovery Theater on Sunday, July 2, at 2 p.m. to learn more about our first opportunity for long-duration living in space, and why Skylab was a key developmental step if humans were ever going to venture into deep space. Skylab made it possible to learn what effects longer missions in microgravity would have on astronauts and equipment. Lessons learned on Skylab helped drive the design and function of the International Space Station.
