ASTRA Flight Operations Mission

Night Vision Room

Trainees will discuss the anatomy of the eye, and how the sensory cells work before donning Meta Quest goggles simulating Night Vision devices. As a part of the mission, trainees will identify objects in both rural and urban landscapes.

Parasim

This activity introduces the trainee to the parts of a parachute, as well as the principles behind them. The trainee will then simulate a jump from 10,000 feet.
