STEAM Literature Series (Every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. inside Spark!Lab)

You know what all astronauts are really good at doing? Reading! Reading is a vital part of all children’s futures, not just the ones going to space! Join us every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. inside Spark Lab to put the “A” in STEAM as we read stories and enjoy a hands-on activity. Included with museum admission. Duration: 30 minutes.

 

Theme for the Month:  The Night Sky

August 2: National Coloring Book Day – Celebrate every color in the crayon box and color a fun NASA coloring page inside Spark!Lab.

August 6: Telescopes - Learn about the technology that helps get those beautiful images of faraway objects.

August 13: Constellations - Learn about the stars and which ones create pictures in the night sky.

August 20: The Sun & Moon - Both the Moon and the Sun light up our sky, but what makes them different?

August 27: Planets - Learn about the planets that make up our solar system.
