The U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) is a Smithsonian Affiliate and the Official Visitor Center for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. We boast one of the largest collections of rockets and space memorabilia on display anywhere in the world.

Experience the power of the first test firing of the first stage of the Saturn V. in the “The Force”. Feel the thunderous roar of all five F-1 engines coming to life and learn about their testing at Marshall Space Flight Center.

Bringing young explorers? Your future astronauts can explore the Lunar surface at KidSpace. They can also learn about and see real lunar samples with our “Lunar Detective” interactive kiosk.

Last but not least, don’t miss our Moon Rock! See a large lunar sample collected by astronaut Alan Bean during the Apollo 12 mission.
