Engineering the Future

You are invited to join us for the Engineering the Future Summer 2023.

This volunteer program for high school students 14 and older is designed to give teens the opportunity to gain service hours while experiencing the fun and excitement that is summer at the US Space & Rocket Center!

Choose between 2 3-week sessions, June 5-23 or July 10-28. Participants will be divided into 2 teams per session. Teams will participate on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, with Fridays optional. Your day will be from 9a-4p, with early drop-off and late pick-up options available. Lunch is provided.

We want our student volunteers to show how self-sufficient they can be in engaging guests. Options for engagement will include 6 different STEAM student-facilitated activities, as well as helping in Spark!Lab, operating Rosie the Robot and doing clean-up around the campus.

Benefits include a volunteer shirt, free lunch at Mars Grill during your shift, up to 50 hours of volunteer hours and museum passes at the end of your session. We will also offer optional Friday enrichment days that will include guided museum tours with our docents and meetings with various departments around the museum.
