Sharon McDougle is an award-winning children's author passionate about inspiring young minds through STEM. Her remarkable career at NASA includes making history as one of the first female and only Black Crew Escape Equipment (CEE) Suit Technicians, eventually becoming the first female and Black Crew Chief, and finally, the first female and Black Manager of the CEE Processing Department. She suited up astronauts, including Dr. Mae Jemison for her historic flight and led the team responsible for astronaut suits and safety during the Space Shuttle era. A USAF veteran, McDougle's "Suit Up" series inspires young readers to explore STEM fields. Come meet Sharon, get your books signed, and ignite your child's curiosity about the universe!
