In each of the three habitats (lodging accommodations), trainees are separated by age and gender. Space Camp resident assistant crew trainers are housed in rooms adjacent to student sleeping quarters. RA crew trainers are on-call every night, and camp staff is posted in each habitat from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Hallway lights remain illuminated throughout the night to allow easy access to the restrooms. Restrooms are gender-specific and have separated shower and toilet stalls.
