U.S. Space & Rocket Center invites teachers to see Apollo exhibit and INTUITIVE® Planetarium free, Saturday, March 9

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is inviting educators to visit the state-of-the-art INTUITIVE® Planetarium and new “Apollo: When We Went to the Moon” exhibit this Saturday, March 9. Admission is free for teachers with educator identification. Homeschool teachers should provide documentation of their umbrella organization. ALL Educators (pre-service and active) at all grade levels (daycare - pre-K - post-secondary - graduate level) are welcome, including public school, private schools, homeschools and librarians. Free admission is available to teachers only. INTUITIVE® Planetarium shows are available during business hours on March 9, on a first-come, first-served basis. Shows include “Explore” at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., “Destination Solar System” at noon and 3 p.m., and “Galileo: First Light” at 2 p.m. Other activities scheduled for the day include: • Live Science shows: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. • Guided tours of the Davidson Center for Space Exploration: 10 a.m., 12 p.m. 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. • Goody bags for educators while supplies last
