Huntsville, Ala. - Santa is making a stop at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center this Saturday, Dec. 3, for a day of story time and special activities. Santa will arrive at the Saturn V Hall of the Davidson Center for Space Exploration at 9:30 a.m., and story times and photo opportunities with Santa take place at 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m., in the National Geographic Theater. Parlor Doughnuts and Cookie Fix will be on site with tasty treats for sale.
Admission to the Davidson Center only is $15 for the public and $5 for members, ages 2 and up. Regular general admission grants access to the entire Rocket Center, with story time with Santa available for an additional $5 each. Story time tickets may be purchased at the ticket desk on arrival.
In addition to the special visitor from the North Pole, the Rocket Center is also hosting a Touch-a-Truck event in the Davidson Center parking lot until 3 p.m. HEMSI, Huntsville Fire Department, Huntsville Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Huntsville Utilities, and the WAFF weather team will be on site for the free Touch-a-Truck event.
Parking for Saturday’s activities is on site, with overflow parking available at Calhoun Community College across I-565 from the Rocket Center.
