Summer Circuits

Kids learning together

This weeklong U.S. Space & Rocket Center STEM program offers an introduction to robotics, coding, electrical circuits, and 3D printing while also celebrating space explorers of the past and present. Students will take mini-field trips within the Rocket Center to engage with artifacts related to the daily theme and enjoy a tour of the universe in the INTUITIVE® Planetarium. On the final day at check out, parents are invited to join their children in Space Works: A Makers Lab for an open house with the education team.

Ages 9-11: Students will learn about space explorers of the past and present, space communication and transportation, and dive into introductory 3D printing and design, robotics coding, computer block coding, engineering design, and simple circuits.

Ages 12-14: Students will learn about space explorers of the past and present, space communication and transportation, and have hands-on experiences with 3D printing and design, Raspberry Pi computer coding and breadboard electronics, engineering challenges, and interactive astronomy.

Limited to 20 students per session.

No food is allowed in Space Works: A Makers Lab.  Water bottles are welcome but will be stored in a safe location during certain activities.
