Registration and Account Information:

Will I have access to Bunk1?

*New for 2023* All parents of Space Camp trainees will have complimentary access to Bunk1 Camp Photos. Bunk1 access is available through your Space Camp online account. Once you are in your camper’s registration, click on BUNK1 Camp Photos, then PHOTOS. Please CLICK HERE for step-by-step instructions on how to activate and access your camper’s photos. Once activated, you may also access your account with The Bunk1 Mobile App which is available on iOS and Android devices.


Who are the camp photographers?

The camp photographers are hired and employed by Space Camp. Each photographer goes through the same rigorous interview and screening process as all Space Camp employees.


Where can I get the Bunk1 Mobile App?

This summer, you will have access to all the Camp photos from the Bunk1 mobile app. You will be sent push notifications when Space Camp uploads new content. The default profile picture will be set to the photo taken at your child’s Camp check-in. Use the app to send your BunkNotes this summer, too! The Bunk1 Mobile App is available on iOS and Android devices.


When I can order photos?

Our photographers will begin to upload photos within 48 hours of camp check-in. Once you have activated your BUNK1 account and your photos are available, you can download photos.


When can I access Bunk1 and view my child’s photos?

You can activate your camper’s BUNK1 Camp Photo account before, during or after camp is completed.

To view photos, you must activate your complimentary login. This can be done by logging into your Space Camp online account. Once you are in your camper’s registration, click on BUNK1 Camp Photos, then PHOTOS.

After your initial activation, you can access your account by logging into your child’s Camp account and clicking on “Bunk 1 Camp Photos,” going to www.bunk1.com , or download the Bunk1 Mobile app.

  • Your email and password are the SAME email that you use to log into your online Space Camp account through Mission Control.
  • If you have not activated your complementary BUNK1 Camp Photo package, you will be prompted to select a bundle. CLICK HERE for step-by-step instructions on how to activate and access your camper’s photos.
  • Please note that camp photos can take up to 48 hours to be uploaded into Bunk1. We appreciate your patience with our uploads.
  • The Bunk1 Mobile App is available on iOS and Android devices.


How can I view my child's camp photos?

TEAM PHOTOS

  • Visit /missioncontrol and click "Login and View Registrations." Sign into your online account. Under "Registrations," open your child’s account.
  • In the same location that you completed your child's online form, click on "Bunk 1 Photo Options," then PHOTOS.
  • This will automatically open your account on BUNK 1.
  • Every camper account will have access to the TEAM PHOTOS folder at no additional charge.
    • To view the team photo, click on the TEAM PHOTOS icon.
    • Click on your child's Expedition/Week number.
    • Click on their camp program and locate their team's name.


CAMP PHOTOS

Camp photos begin uploading within 48 hours of the camp start date and continue to upload past check-out.

Occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control and the volume of photos taken during peak weeks, we are not able to guarantee this timeframe. We appreciate your patience and understanding during any delays.

  • Log into your account using the same directions listed above.
  • To view only your child’s photos, click on the “Dashboard” at the top of the page, and select “My Campers.”
  • This will open the “My Camper” window.
  • Under “My Campers,” you will see, “Is this your camper?”
  • Through facial recognition, the system pulls up photos that closely “match” the face in the check-in picture. It will give sample photos for the parent to confirm if it is their child.

  • Matched photos will be available to view under “Detected Photos.”
  • You can also access photos under the Gallery-View All.
  • Click on your child’s expedition week number and their camp.
  • Photos will then be divided up by team name, then activities then dates.

What if I do not see my child in photos?

We make every effort to photograph all trainees. Keep in mind that logistics and program schedules can determine when you might see your child’s photos. Some trainees can be camera shy, too!


How often are photos uploaded?

While we make every effort to have all photos uploaded within 48 hours, occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control and the volume of photos taken during peak weeks, we are not able to guarantee this timeframe.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during any delays.

The facial recognition software requires processing time to tag each individual. Each time a photo is accepted in the “My Campers” section, the facial recognition gets more precise.


How do I download the photos?

Visit Missioncontrol and click "Login and View Registrations."

Once logged in to your account, go to your camper’s registration and select “BUNK1 Camp Photos,” then select PHOTOS. This will automatically bring you to your account in BUNK1.

Once you find a photo you want to download, simply click on the shopping cart icon below the photo to add it to your cart.

When you are ready to download, go to “My Cart” in the top, right-hand corner. Follow the prompts to check out to receive your downloads.
